The basketball scene in Alien Resurrection.

For all the doubters out there, confirmation that Sigourney Weaver continues being a total badass no matter what. And that Ron Perlman knows awesome when he sees it.

No matter your feelings on ALIEN:RESURRECTION, the fourth film in the ALIEN series, there were a number of interesting ideas put forward. Yes the final product may not of been that great, and if your Joss Whedon the tragedy and frustration of that fact must be incredible, but it was certaintly an interesting installment. Visually the Aliens looked probably the best out of all three sequels, although nothing will ever compare to the Giger design seen in the original ALIEN. And the film overall has a nice pulpy feel to it that I quite liked.

However the Alien occupied segment of my heart will always belong to the first. ALIEN is one of the most perfect science-fiction films ever made. And I CANNOT wait to see PROMETHEUS, I'm on the edge of my seat already.
