There are three other superheroes said to be in the upcoming Superman/Batman movie; Wonder Woman, Nightwing, and possibly The Flash. My thoughts;
Wonder Woman; What if WW is serving a similar role as Black Widow did in Iron Man 2? Zack Snyder is said to be a big fan of Miller's 'The Dark Knight Returns', so much so that it's rumored that he spoke to Miller about the upcoming S/B movie. So maybe Superman is working alongside the U.S. Government in good faith, and a liaison is assigned to him. Maybe her name is Diana. And she seems to demonstrate powers, or unique skills of her own. Along the way she meets Bruce Wayne as he comes into the story and the two begin a flirtation through the film. Only for Diana to reveal her own costumed identity for the films climax.
Nightwing; Maybe Alfred isn't in this movie. The supporting role to Bruce Wayne/Batman would have to be filled somehow. And the grown Robin is a prime choice. The Batman in the movie is an older more seasoned masked hero. So Bringing in more of the Bat-continuity makes sense. Plus it will be a nice break from the traditional Batman model we've become so familiar with and has been central to Christopher Nolan's recent trilogy.
The Flash- In Miller's 'The Dark Knight Strikes Again' Lex Luthor is using the Flash as a power source and he has to be broken out by Batman and his team. Could the same thing happen here? It's more than likely that Lex will be the big bad of the movie. So maybe the Flash is in a similar state. Or maybe, just maybe, at the end of the movie after Superman and Batman have come together, and Wonder Woman, possibly being involved as well, maybe the group pops up in Central City while the Flash is in the middle of some superhero-ing. And ask him to join their new alliance. Cue Justice League theme.
Just me thinking out loud...
The awkward and, more often, odd ramblings of a Transdimensional Ape. BEWARE OF; fanboys, news items, opinions, facts, videos, "art" and other forms of madness and expression.

........
With 'Thor: The Dark World' coming out I thought I'd run through the best to worst of the first phase of MARVEL movies. Know that I'm approaching this on an individual movie basis and not as a collective ongoing franchise. Full Disclosure; I am a DC Comics guy, but that doesn't mean I can't enjoy MARVEL characters too.
MARVEL phase 1, best to worst;
BEST
- 'Captain America: The First Avenger'
- 'Iron Man'
-'The Avengers'
-'The Incredible Hulk'
-'Iron Man 2'
-'Thor'
WORST
